Fossils
Fossils are truly fascinating links to the Earth's past history. It is amazing to think that you can hold in your hand the remains of creatures that roamed the planet millions of years ago. Hundreds of different sorts of Ammonites and Nautiloids swam in the ancient oceans whilst Trilobites are some of the most ancient fossils of all, some over 400 million years old.
Please note: Due to the irregular shapes of many of these items and the consequential difficulties in measurement, all dimensions given are approximate.
